BIRMINGHAM — Birmingham police say multiple people were shot on Carson Road. Officers issued the statement around 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

Officers are on scene and a homicide investigation is underway, authorities said. The incident occurred at 1401 Carson Road, police said.
