Investigation against Gunnison Valley police chief

The Gunnison Valley Police Chief has been placed on leave while he is investigated. According to Sanpete County Attorney Kevin Daniels, a small investigation was conducted into Police Chief Seth Hendrickson beginning May 29 to see if a more thorough investigation was needed. It was determined that a full investigation was needed and Hendrickson was placed on leave. According to Daniels, Utah County officials are conducting the investigation and if charges need to be filed, the Utah County Attorney’s Office will handle prosecution.
