Man hospitalized after brutal attack in Glasgow

A man was hospitalized after a brutal attack in Glasgow.

According to police, the incident occurred on Hecla Avenue in Drumchapel shortly after 6pm on Friday 31 May.

Police said they were called to a serious attack in the area.

A 52-year-old man was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment.

An investigation into the incident has now been launched.

A Police Scottish spokesman said: “On Friday 31 May 2024, at around 6.20pm, officers were called to a report of a serious assault on Hecla Avenue, Glasgow.

“A 52-year-old man was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

“The investigation is ongoing.”
