Horace shooting under investigation

HORACE, ND – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting in Horace. Officers were called to a home around 7:30 p.m. Sunday for a person suffering from a gunshot wound that they believe was self-inflicted. The person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The sheriff’s office is still investigating the shooting, but says there is no reason to believe the incident poses a threat to the public’s safety at this time.
