Monroe man arrested for looking through window and exposing himself

MONROE, NC (WBTV) – A man was arrested in Monroe for exposing himself while looking through a window last week. According to police.

Kendall Ra’shad Carpenter, 31, was taken to the Union County Sheriff’s Office and held on $5,000 bail. following accusation:

  • Trespassing
  • Watching secretly
  • Indecent exposure

The incident occurred on Friday, May 24, at a home on South Crawford Street near Lancaster Avenue.

The victim stated that she was inside her home when she was startled by Carpenter peeking through the back window, exposing himself. Police say he ran away when she called 911.

Within minutes, authorities announced that they had found and arrested Carpenter.

Officers said they have been made aware of similar incidents in the neighborhood and are actively following up on the information they have collected.
