Metro Fire says one has died in a crash in Sacramento

(FOX40.COM) – One person died after a multi-vehicle crash in Sacramento Saturday afternoon, according to Metro Fire of Sacramento.

The agency said the accident occurred on Fulton Avenue around 5:30 p.m


A FOX40 News team member on scene said the crash appears to have involved three cars, all of which sustained extensive damage.

They added that while no road closures have been implemented, motorists are turning around as soon as they arrive at the scene of the accident.

The area between Macroni Avenue and El Camino Avenue should be avoided as Metro Fire and California Highway Patrol investigate the accident.
