Thibodaux couple charged with sexual abuse, arson and shooting of teenager | crime

THIBODAUX, La. (KADN) – Authorities are calling it a “heinous, cruel and horrific” crime.

A couple is accused of sexually abusing, burning and shooting a 15-year-old girl.

Terrance Washington, 41, and his girlfriend Latonya Harris, 40, are from Thibodaux, Terrebonne Parish.

According to investigators, the girl was found with severe burns and multiple gunshots and “clinging to life” after the couple was involved in a car accident.

The couple is being held on a $1 million bond each.

Authorities said they could face decades in prison if convicted.
