Prichard man arrested after leading police on chase in stolen car: MPD

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Prichard man was arrested after leading police on a chase in a stolen car before crashing, according to the Mobile Police Department.

According to an MPD release, officers were in the area of ​​Snow Road around 2 a.m. Friday when they found a vehicle that had been reported stolen outside of Saraland Police Department jurisdiction.

Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver allegedly refused to stop.

As the driver, later identified as 20-year-old Joseph Kealee Graham of Prichard, approached the intersection of Snow Road and Airport Boulevard, he attempted to turn left and crashed, according to the release.

The press release said Graham then fled the car, but officers were able to arrest him a short time later.

According to the release, he is accused of receiving stolen property and attempting to flee.
