Opelika Police need your help finding a missing student

OPELIKA, Ala. (WRBL) Opelika Police are asking for the community’s assistance in locating 18-year-old Presley Shantrice Johnson, who was reported missing on Thursday, May 9, 2024.

According to authorities, Johnson was last seen leaving Opelika High School around 12 p.m. in a black Ford Explorer. Concern grew as her family was unable to contact her and did not know where she was or who she might have left with.


Johnson is described as a black woman, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall. She has black hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance she was wearing blue jeans, a pink jacket and white shoes.

Opelika police have urged anyone with information about Johnson’s whereabouts to come forward. They can be reached at (334) 705-5260. Alternatively, tips can be submitted anonymously via the Secret Witness Hotline at (334) 745-8665 or via the Opelika Police Mobile App.

The community is urged to remain vigilant and share any relevant information that could help locate Presley Shantrice Johnson and ensure her safe return home.
