Innovative Atlanta Hip-Hop Artist Domani Harris Releases New EP “PO Box” – 95.5 WSB

ATLANTA, Ga. – Young, innovative Atlanta hip-hop artist Domani Harris has released his new EP “PO Box” on all streaming platforms and is eager for fans to hear what he’s been working on.

The four-track EP is part of his Love Letter series and includes the songs “It’s Me,” “I Know It” featuring Skilla Baby, “Forever Lasting” featuring DC Young Fly and Seddy Hendrix and “Sneak Remix.” The music video for “Forever Lasting” has been viewed millions of times on YouTube.

“I was creating music and putting it in a format to put out there,” Domani said. “A lot of the music sits in the vault or in the player, or sits in the studio. I really needed to practice not thinking too much and just putting it out there.”

Domani said the concept of calling his EP “PO Box” was inspired by some of the people he’s met around the world who have sent him gifts and memorabilia from his previously released EPs. Domani said some of his fans have gifted him bracelets, necklaces, shirts and fruit.

“As I’ve been touring and going to different cities and meeting different people, people have tried to give me things and asked me if I had a PO Box. That’s why I created one. It’s an actual PO Box address that’s in the EP somewhere. The title is a reference to the last three EPs I’ve put out. They’re all about letters that I’ve sent to whoever. This one is about the letters that the world sends me.”

The song “Forever Lasting” performed well on radio and streaming platforms, earning over 5 million streams and over 80,000 Shazams.

“It’s always a good time to work with good people. DC Young Fly is a really great person. He’s funny, but at the same time, he’s smart. He’s extremely talented. Seddy Hendrix is talented. He gets in the booth and comes up with great ideas. Atlanta has a lot of those great characters.”

Domani spoke about his evolution as a man and as a creator from the days he was practicing writing and performing his own music on the TV show “The Family Hustle” to the music he’s working on.

“I’ve gone from a boy to a man and a human being. I’m trying to find different ways to stay creative and fall in love with music again,” he said. “I’m working and focusing on what I’m doing. A lot of times we don’t even know we’re doing exactly what we said we were going to do. I’m probably doing exactly what I said I was going to do. Sometimes we don’t really realize how far we’ve come or what we’ve accomplished until we sit down and look at the result.”

Domani said the music on the EP fit the mood he wanted to create.

“Everything went as I thought it would,” he said. “Everyone was messaging me and I wanted to convey that vibe through the features. It’s like they were sending me audio messages with the features.”

In 2023, he released an EP titled “Before The Ink Dry” and several songs including “Hi-Ya” with rap producer Wheezy Outta Here, “I Did It”, “Man” and “Sleep It Off”.

He has released several EPs and albums, including his 2019 album “Time Will Tell,” 2021’s “Skydive,” 2024’s “Dear Jane” and “Last Letter” EPs, and his 2018 EP “Amygdala.” He talked about some of his fan favorite songs, including “Henny and Crystals,” and how it’s still a timeless record.

“I think ‘Henny’s and Crystals’ is one of those songs that will live forever,” he said. “When people associate certain songs with certain feelings and moments, it’s priceless. It’s a bouquet of flowers to me.”

Domani named several legendary hip-hop artists as his favorites and those who inspired him, including his father TI, Lil Wayne, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, OutKast, UGK and the Dungeon Family.

“I think subconsciously, certain songs you hear remind you of a certain smell or a certain feeling. Radio plays a big part in that. These artists are part of my journey. Atlanta has long been a leader in music and creativity,” he said.

In 2018, Domani featured on the hit song titled “Family Connect” with his father T.I. Domani’s brother and fellow talented artist Messiah Harris produced the song.

Domani recently performed in Nashville for the Blavity House Party, in Chicago for the Juneteenth Festival with Common, and has also performed in Washington, DC, Virginia and other cities across the United States.

“Besides making music, the best part is going out and seeing people who really love music and have been touched by it. Being able to bring a group of people together in one building and create an indescribable energy because you all love music. You can hear it and feel it.”

Domani has over 20 million streams since January 2024. In 2024, Domani also performed at Dreamville Fest, Blavity House Party, and other venues across the country. He has an upcoming show in Dallas on Thursday, July 25. He also continues to do shows and appearances in Atlanta.

Domani has a special message of encouragement for his fans and everyone who is pursuing their dreams in life.

“Say what you’re trying to do. A lot of times we like to say what makes us comfortable,” he said. “You have to say what you want and understand that it’s up to you to do what it takes to get what you want. Say what you want to do in life and say what you’re not willing to settle for.”
