Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Back to School Contest

  • What:An event to distribute school supplies to students in need. There will also be entertainment and food.

  • What:Distribution of school supplies for elementary, middle and high school students, as well as resources, activities and entertainment for students and parents.

Shoesday Competition

  • When: 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on July 23
  • Where: To be announced on July 22
  • What: 1-800-TruckWreck, sponsored by Witherite Law Group, is partnering with Atlanta R&B station KISS 104.1 FM to host a free “Shoesday” back-to-school contest. The contest is designed to provide new shoes to school-aged children heading back to school. The first 200 families to win will receive a $100 gift card that can be used toward new shoes.

  • What: Lenox Square and Sarah Smith Elementary School are rallying together for a school supply drive. Donation boxes are available throughout Lenox Square. They are collecting regular-sized backpacks, tissue boxes, Clorox wipes, 12-packs of Crayola crayons, 24-packs of Crayola crayons, 12-packs of Crayola washable markers, #2 crayons and glue sticks.
