One of the dead in Bangkok hotel behind poisoning: police

One of the six foreign nationals found dead in a Bangkok hotel room was responsible for the deaths, police said on Wednesday. Blood tests on the deceased found traces of cyanide.

“We would like to confirm that one of the six dead people caused this incident with cyanide,” Noppasil Poonsawas, deputy head of investigations at the Metropolitan Police Bureau in Bangkok, said at a press conference. “We are convinced that one of the six committed the crime.”
