Windsor Police make arrest in case of incitement to child abuse and sexual assault

According to Windsor police, a man has been charged with the alleged sexual abuse of a 15-year-old girl.

In a press release on Monday, police said officers began the investigation in May after receiving information that the girl had been sexually abused by a man she met through social media.

Following an investigation, the Department of the Service for Combating the Exploitation of Children on the Internet has arrested a 25-year-old man.

The man’s electronic devices were seized as evidence, police said.

The 25-year-old man from Windsor is accused of sexual assault and seduction of a child under the age of 16.
