Morgantown Fire Department responds to tractor-trailer crash on Grafton overpass, investigation ongoing – WAJR

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The cause of a crash involving a tractor-trailer that closed portions of Grafton Road outside Morgantown Friday afternoon is under investigation.

The accident was reported by Monongalia County Emergency Management around 1 p.m. Friday when the tractor-trailer crashed just before the I-68 on- and off-ramps at the Grafton overpass. The accident involved four vehicles, including the tractor-trailer. The Grafton overpass was closed for about an hour, with one lane of southbound Grafton Road also closed.

The Morgantown Fire Department responded to the accident, where three people were treated for injuries. There is no update on their condition.
