Buffalo police investigating fatal officer-involved shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police are investigating an officer-involved shooting. Police say the shooting happened just after midnight Wednesday morning near Kensington Avenue and Poultney Avenue.

Detectives say one person was taken to ECMC where they died,
Buffalo homicide detectives and the internal affairs division are conducting separate investigations.
The Attorney General’s Office of Special Investigations has also been notified, no further details have been released at this time.
