Gang of ten arrested for drug abuse and rape of underage girl

Neredmet police have arrested a 10-member gang who allegedly raped and impregnated a minor girl after offering her a drug-laced drink. The gang abducted the 12-year-old girl from Kacheguda and sexually abused her in Vinayak Nagar area of ​​Neredmet.

Criminal proceedings have been registered against seven of the ten arrested: Chakkolu Naresh (26), Siripanga Vijay Kumar (23), Guddanti Krishna (22), Thonte Kiran Kumar (26), James Xavior (24), Vagmare Deepak (25) and Sabavath Hathya Naik (25). The other three have been identified as Vagmare Balaji (23), Bollepogu Ajay (23) and Injamuri Madhu (30).

“All 10 are residents of Vinayak Nagar and are addicted to ganja. Naresh and Vijay contacted the victim, who lives in Kachiguda, through a common friend. The two befriended her over the phone and also introduced her to the other people involved in the case,” police said.

Naresh took her to one of their places in Vinayak Nagar and sexually abused her. “After that, the men took turns to abuse her after offering her a soft drink laced with marijuana. She was five months pregnant when the matter came to light after the girl told her mother about her plight,” police added.
