Man charged with raping 14-year-old girl | Guam News

A 14-year-old girl told police on June 27 that a 31-year-old man she knew had attacked and raped her two days earlier.

A complaint filed Saturday in the Supreme Court of Guam by a justice of the peace states that the alleged assault took place on June 25 and that the girl was asleep when Clayton John Peredo began the alleged sexual assault.

“She was awakened when the defendant pulled off her sweatpants and panties. The victim told the defendant to stop and attempted to kick him away, but the defendant was too strong for the victim,” the complaint states.

Peredo allegedly attacked the teenager with a sex toy and then raped her. According to the indictment, Peredo asked the girl two days later to “do it again.” The victim said, “No.”

“Guam Police Department officers interviewed the defendant, who admitted to ‘attempting to have sexual intercourse with the victim.’ The defendant admitted to touching the victim’s genitals,” the complaint states, adding that he also attempted to penetrate the victim.

Peredo was charged with three counts of first-degree sexual abuse as a first-degree felony and attempted first-degree sexual abuse as a first-degree felony.

He is being held at the Department of Corrections on $10,000 bail.
