Teenager found shot to death in Leon Arms apartment on Tuesday, Tallahassee police say

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A teenager was found shot to death at the Leon Arms Apartments Tuesday night, according to Tallahassee police.

The shooting occurred shortly before 6 p.m. at the Leon Arms apartment complex in the 2500 block of Holton Street, police said.

When officers arrived, they discovered a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the leg, according to a TPD news release. TPD said it was unclear if the teen was the target of the shooting.

The teenager was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive, according to Tallahassee police.
