Uber driver charged with sexually assaulting passenger in Ithaca – Finger Lakes Daily News

An Uber driver is accused of sexually assaulting a customer in the city of Ithaca.

The victim told police that the driver, Salah Eddeen Mikki of Syracuse, got into an Uber car on May 24, drove to a nearby location and parked there. The 33-year-old then allegedly got into the back seat, held down the victim and forcibly touched her. The victim was able to escape and call for help after running away.

Mikki was arrested for sexual abuse and released on summons.
