NOWSHERA: Residents of Armour Colony have strongly criticised the power disruption that lasted for over eight hours. The residents, including children, patients and the elderly, faced severe hardship after the power supply was disrupted at 11 pm and restored at 6 am.

Elders of Armour Colony, including Zahoor Ahmad, Wajid Ali and others, told reporters that the power outage in their area had lasted for over eight hours, which prevented them from sleeping. They demanded that the government take note of the long power outage in their area.

Meanwhile, Abdus Samad Paracha, a local activist of the Awami National Party, expressed his anger over the hours-long power cuts and the ever-increasing prices of electricity and natural gas. He said the excessive power cuts and the rising prices of electricity and natural gas have forced people to take to the streets and express their anger against the government.
