Russian army attacks seven settlements in Donetsk region and damages 32 civilian objects

On June 21, Russian troops fired 1,945 shells at the Donetsk region, hitting seven settlements and damaging 32 civilian objects.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the police of the Donetsk region.

“The police registered 1,945 attacks from the Russian Federation. The enemy attacked seven settlements: the towns of Kurakhove, Selydove, Toretsk, Druzhba, New York, Pivnichne and Novozhelanne,” the statement said.

Enemy shelling damaged 32 civilian objects, including 26 residential buildings, a cafe, a shop, cars and power lines.






In particular, the occupiers attacked Toretsk six times: with four KAB-250 bombs and artillery. Two people were killed and another injured. Six apartment blocks, two private houses and infrastructure were damaged.

The invaders dropped a UMPB D-30SN aerial bomb on Selydove, killing two civilians and injuring three others. Five apartment blocks and six private houses were destroyed.

The Russian army shelled Druzhba with artillery. One person was killed and another was injured. Two private houses were damaged.

According to police, a KAB-250 bomb attack in the town of New York injured a civilian and damaged a house.

Another civilian was injured in Pivnichne, two houses and a car were damaged.

The Police and Security Service of Ukraine initiated a criminal case under Article 438 (Violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Ukrainian Criminal Code.

As reported, Russian occupiers killed five civilians and injured seven others in the Donetsk region on June 21.
