Wilder police are searching for a person accused of abandoning several cats outside an animal shelter on Tuesday. According to Wilder police, the occupant of a black Kia Soul with an Ohio license plate abandoned five cats in a cage outside the Protect 4 Paws animal shelter. Police say this happened around 8:40 a.m. On Wednesday evening, police released photos of the car, which can be seen below. Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Wilder police at 859-581-8863. “Look for legal ways to rehome your animals, not cruel ways to abandon them,” a police news release said Wednesday.
