Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Buffalo Township, Butler County. Authorities confirmed to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 the incident happened on Route 228 (Ekastown Road) around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday. Buffalo Township Police and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating. Highway 228 was closed between Coal Hollow and Sarver roads while investigators were on scene. The road has since reopened. Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Buffalo Township, Butler County.

Authorities confirmed to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 the incident happened on Route 228 (Ekastown Road) around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Buffalo Township Police and Pennsylvania State Police are both investigating.

Highway 228 was closed between Coal Hollow and Sarver roads while investigators were on scene. The road has since reopened.
