Teenager arrested after stabbing | State

ALPINE, Texas — According to police, a 21-year-old man was hospitalized on Sunday morning after being stabbed numerous times.

On June 16, 2024, Alpine Police officers were dispatched to Big Bend Regional Hospital to evaluate a 21-year-old man who had sustained multiple stab wounds.

Officers spoke briefly with the victim and determined that the incident occurred in the 2000 block of Peach Tree Circle.

Officers with the Alpine Police Department were able to identify a suspect, a 16-year-old male. The juvenile was arrested and is currently awaiting juvenile proceedings.

The victim was flown by helicopter to a hospital in El Paso, where he was treated and is expected to be released.

The investigations are still ongoing.
