Husband and mother attacked in dispute over love affair – Telangana Today

According to reports, Adnan Ali of Kirtinagar Colony was in a relationship with a woman who lived there. When Ali returned home on Sunday evening, he was attacked with knives and stabbed multiple times by the woman’s family members who were waiting in an autorickshaw near his house.

Warangal: A 24-year-old man and his mother were attacked by family members of the woman he was in love with in Kirtinagar Colony in Geesukonda mandal of the district on Sunday evening.

According to reports, Adnan Ali of Kirtinagar settlement was in a relationship with a woman who lived in the settlement. When Ali returned home on Sunday evening, he was attacked with knives and stabbed multiple times by the woman’s family members who were waiting in an autorickshaw near his house. Ali ran into his house to save himself but the attackers followed him and stabbed his mother who came to his aid. Meanwhile, neighbours came to the aid of the mother and son and forced the attackers to flee the house.

The locals took the two to MGM Hospital where they are being treated. It was reported that the family members of the woman involved in the attack were arrested by the police.

The police have registered a case and investigations are underway.
