MCA Vice President calls on Prime Minister to suspend decision to liberalise diesel prices

The MCA has asked the government to suspend its decision to liberalise diesel prices to buy time to correct any shortcomings in the measure.

Its vice-president Wee Jeck Seng said he had received complaints today about initial applications under the targeted diesel subsidy programme. Some companies had been told they had already registered for it, raising concerns about possible data misuse.
