NDC leaders given ultimatum to reinstate suspended Amenfi Central executives

A coalition of executives from the branch concerned has challenged the suspension of several top managers of Amenfi Central for alleged anti-party misconduct.

The group has given the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) a week-long ultimatum to lift the suspension of constituency chairman Raphael Andoh Kwaw, constituency organizer Richmond Aleke, women’s organizer Grace Kwaw and her deputy Janet Fynn.

They accused the national leadership of injustice.

At a press conference organized by the group on Saturday in Manso Amenfi, they expressed their dissatisfaction with the decision of the party’s general secretary.

Ernest Ofori, Wassa Anyinabriem Branch Secretary, and Michael Mensah, NDC Nsona Area Branch Coordinator/Secretary, in their speeches to the media, described the actions of Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey and the entire national leadership as unacceptable.

They warned that the suspension could jeopardise the NDC’s achievements and victory in Amenfi Central.
