Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen was attacked by a man in a square in Copenhagen on Friday, her office said. The man was arrested.

“Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen was beaten by a man on Friday evening at Kultorvet in Copenhagen. The man was subsequently arrested,” the Prime Minister’s office said in a statement to AFP. Frederiksen was “shocked by the incident.”
