Help needed to find missing teen in Buffalo

BUFFALO, NY — The Buffalo Police Department is urgently seeking the public’s help in locating 14-year-old Javiea L. Posey, who has been reported missing. Javiea is described as a black woman, approximately 5’4″ tall, weighing 120 pounds, with long black braids over her shoulders. She might be wearing black and white Jordans.

She was last seen on Monday, June 4, 2024, around 11 p.m., in the 100 block of Reiman Street in Buffalo.

It may be near the Walden Galleria shopping center. Earlier the same day, she was spotted near the Holiday Inn Express on Commerce Parkway in Hamburg, New York.

Buffalo Police are urging anyone with information on Javiea’s current whereabouts to contact 911 immediately to help him return safely.
