(WJET/WFXP) – Emergency crews were called to a Pennsylvania home Saturday afternoon for a suspected fire.

A 43-year-old Jamestown woman called 911 around 1:20 p.m. Saturday, claiming a chair was on fire. When Jamestown Fire Department officials arrived, there was no active fire or evidence that the fire was out.

The investigation revealed that the woman had called emergency services without reason and was arrested by officers of the Jamestown Police Department.

She was taken to the Jamestown City Jail, charged with falsely reporting an incident, and released on a summons to appear again in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
