Suspect in 23-year-old sexual assault case to be arraigned in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni has announced a significant development in a decades-old sexual assault case.

Thanks to advances in DNA technology, a suspect has been arrested, shedding new light on a case that has remained unsolved for 23 years.


The suspect’s arrest represents a significant breakthrough in the investigation and gives the victim and his family hope for closure. District Attorney Gulluni will address the public at 11 a.m. Wednesday
