Passaic City man shot in Paterson, police say

According to police, a 51-year-old Passaic City man was shot early Monday morning near the intersection of Carroll and Pearl streets in Paterson.

The victim was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound. Police arrived at the scene at approximately 1:47 a.m. and identified a possible crime scene in the area.
