Brook Road southbound closed as Henrico police investigate fatal pedestrian crash

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Southbound Brook Road in Henrico County is closed as Henrico County Police investigate a fatal pedestrian crash.

On Sunday, May 26, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Henrico Police responded to a pedestrian accident at the corner of Brook Road and Magellan Parkway. When they arrived on scene, officers found an unidentified woman dead in the roadway.

According to officials, the driver of the vehicle reported the accident and remained at the scene.

Brook Road southbound will be closed for the next few hours while police continue to investigate this incident.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes until the road is restored.
