CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS TRAPPED IN HOME FOR ALLEGED HOUSEBREAKING INCIDENT – KQEN News Radio

Two California residents were jailed Thursday for an alleged trespassing incident.

According to a Roseburg Police report, officers responded around 8:15 p.m. after a caller said a man and a woman were seen at a residence in the 1400 block of Northwest Fairmount Street.

The 30-year-old man and 31-year-old woman were identified and told officers that their vehicle had broken down en route from California to Portland and they had entered the home to rest. They were arrested and taken to the correctional facility.

The couple was charged with first-degree trespassing. Bail for each of them was set at $3,000. Her dog was taken to Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center.
