Newark man arrested for drug possession – Finger Lakes Daily News

A suspicious vehicle complaint in Ontario County early Sunday morning led to the arrest of a Newark man.

The vehicle in question was located at East Lake Road and County Line Road in the City of Richmond. A sheriff’s office investigation revealed that 54-year-old Ronald Cassidy was allegedly driving a U-Haul truck while under the influence of drugs. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Cassidy was allegedly in possession of a white powdery substance that tested positive for fentanyl.

Cassidy was charged with DUI and criminal possession of a controlled substance and released on appearance tickets to Richmond Town Court.
