This isn’t Parks’ first crime – he’s been arrested before.

In 2013, Parks was charged with theft of services after boarding an MTA bus without paying.

However, his crimes later turned violent.

On October 14, 2018, he was charged with third-degree assault and criminal coercion in the Bronx after he allegedly punched a woman multiple times and jumped on her during an escalated argument.

“I definitely think he’s done this before,” said an anonymous Bronx detective, the New York Post reported.

“It was too clean. They usually make big mistakes the first time. That wasn’t a mistake. “This guy was precise,” they added.

“There are probably more victims out there, but what happens is they pass out and don’t remember anything,” the detective said.

“How do you get the belt around your neck so perfectly?”

Parks was wearing a white Tyvek jumpsuit as he was escorted to a car by the Bronx Special Victims’ Division.

He ignored the reporters’ questions and hung his head.

He is currently awaiting arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court.

Police had previously released footage showing the moments before the heinous attack on Friday, May 3, and asked residents to help them identify and locate parks.

What happened to the Bronx rape victim?

The NYPD confirmed that the victim, a 45-year-old woman from the Bronx, is currently recovering from the brutal attack.

The victim, who wished to remain anonymous, shared her story with the media to “protect other women in the area,” NBC News 4 reported.

“He choked me with a belt because he wanted to demand sex from me in exchange for money,” she said.

“And I said no and moved on.”

“So he grabbed me from behind with a choke belt and dragged me to the ground over there by the cars and raped me,” the victim added.

The victim said that although Kashaan Parks remained silent during the attack, he was later identified by his teeth.

“Our victim stated that he had seen him before,” said Detective Chief Joseph Kenny, amNY reported.

“She actually described his teeth to us; he had unusual teeth,” Kenny added.

“She said he had space between his teeth,” he added.

The victim also told reporters that she “blacked out” during the attack and only came to about 20 minutes later when she got up and sought help.

“I got up and talked to some neighbors so they could give me advice on what to do.”

“So I went to the hospital and got a rape kit and they gave me some shots and stuff. And then I went to the police station and reported it.”

The victim also admitted that she is still afraid of Parks, who she said is “well-known in the neighborhood.”

“I was worried, I have a lifelong fear because he could come along at any time and do something to someone again,” she said.

She also revealed that this wasn’t the first time Parks had committed such an attack – it was just the first time he had been caught on video and the first time he had been arrested for such an attack.

“It’s not the first time he’s done something like this to a woman. It’s like the second time he’s done this to a woman,” she said.
