1 dead in motorcycle accident in Citrus Park

CITRUS PARK, Fla. – Officials with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the scene of a motorcycle accident that killed one person in Citrus Park on Friday.

According to officials, the accident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. involving a motorcycle and another vehicle in front of the Shoppes of Citrus Park. The motorcyclist was killed.

Authorities are directing drivers away from Ehrlich and Sheldon streets as they say other drivers should avoid the area.

Hillsborough County officials continue to investigate.
