Police surround house in southwest Oklahoma City after gunshots reported in area

Oklahoma City Police officers surrounded a home in the southwest part of the city after hearing gunshots in the area.

OKLAHOMA CITY –

Oklahoma City Police officers surrounded a home in the southwest part of the city after hearing gunshots in the area.

News 9 was originally taken to a hospital near Southwest 42nd Street and South Western Avenue after a victim was hospitalized with a gunshot wound from another incident.

Shortly after arriving at the scene to interview the first victim, OCPD officers reported hearing gunshots coming from a house down the street.

Officers surrounded the house and arrested at least one person. It is not yet known whether they are connected to the shooting.
