Woman dies after stabbing in Vicksburg, police say

VICKSBURG, Mississippi (WJTV) – Vicksburg police said a man was arrested after a woman was found dead following a stabbing.

The incident occurred on Friday, July 12, shortly before 4:15 a.m. in the 800 block of Clark Street.

Vicksburg police said they found the female victim dead inside the home. A man was detained for questioning. The man and woman have not been identified.

Investigators said more information will be released as soon as possible.
