1 person killed in boat accident in Brooklyn

According to police, a man was killed in a collision between two boats near Avenue X and Gerritsen Creek in Brooklyn on Saturday.

According to authorities, port units from the New York Police Department and the NYPD arrived at the scene.

According to police, there were three people in one of the boats. A 58-year-old man on that boat died, the other two were taken to hospital in stable condition.

A person on the second boat was treated on site for minor injuries.

According to police, there is no suspicion of a criminal offense in the incident.
