Multiple stabbings reported Saturday night in Atlanta, police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Two people were injured in separate stabbings in Atlanta Saturday night, police say.

Police said officers went to 586 Ponce De Leon Ave. NE around 10 p.m. “in reference to a suicidal person”. They found a 25-year-old woman injured at the scene.

Police said the woman was alert, conscious and breathing.

At the same time, officers responded to another stabbing at 1931 Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW. Police said officers arrived around 10 p.m. and found a 30-year-old man with a stab wound to his shoulder.

He was taken to hospital.
