North Carolina officials in Randolph County are investigating after a person was found dead under a lawn mower

RANDOLPH COUNTY, NC (WGHP) — The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a person was found dead under an overturned lawn mower Friday evening.

On Friday evening at approximately 8:37 p.m., Randolph County Emergency Medical Services arrived at the 1300 block of Iron Mountain Road after receiving a report of a person found deceased.

Officials said a family member of the victim found him dead in a ditch with the lawnmower lying on top of him.

Emergency medical services, sheriff’s deputies and the East Side of Randolph County Fire Department arrived on scene.
