City of Houston floods trash collection

HOUSTON — The city of Houston will begin going through Kingwood to pick up debris and trash left behind from last week’s flooding.

They start Monday with single-family homes.

For your waste to be collected, it must be in the right place and correctly sorted.

The city wants your belongings out to the curb by 6 a.m. and they should be separated into six different categories:

Anything not at the curb will not be picked up.
