How to watch Detroit Tigers vs. Atlanta Braves – MLB (June 17-19)

The Tigers continue to show that they are incapable of always coming out on top. Although they had a big win against the Houston Astros on Saturday, they were also shut out by the ‘Stros and lost by a score of 4-1 on Sunday. The Tigers have won just three of their last 10 games, but have won four of their last seven on the road, something they will look to build on upon their return to the East Coast.

Heading into Georgia, the Tigers are 6-8 in May. They are fourth in the American League Central, 11 games behind the first-place Cleveland Guardians and five behind the Minnesota Twins for the final Wild Card spot.

The Braves may have had a three-game winning streak snapped Sunday by the Tampa Bay Rays, but they’re still one of the best teams in the National League. With four wins in their last 10 and a 6-8 record in May, Atlanta is second in the NL East. They sit in first place eight behind the Philadelphia Phillies, but hold the top Wild Card spot.

The Tigers are 11-11 in interleague play, while the Braves are 17-9 against AL teams.

These two teams met in Detroit last season, with the Braves winning two of three meetings in April 2023.
