Man dead after Frayser shooting

MEMPHIS, Tennessee – A man is dead after a shooting Sunday afternoon in Frayser, police said.

At 4:24 p.m., officers responded to a call of a shooting victim at 4258 Overton Crossing.

A male victim arrived in a private vehicle. The shooting occurred in Smith Ridge and Smith Ridge Cove.

The victim was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.

According to police, there is currently no information about the suspect.
