Man dies after falling from Leaside Bridge onto vehicle on DVP, passenger injured: Toronto Police

According to Toronto police, a man has died after falling from the Leaside Bridge onto a vehicle on the Don Valley Parkway (DVP).

A passenger in the vehicle was injured and taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The police were called to the area shortly before noon on Sunday. The circumstances of the incident are unclear and the police have not provided any further details.

The northbound DVP is closed from Bayview Avenue and Bloor Street to Don Mills. All ramps to the northbound DVP from the Gardiner Expressway to Bayview and Bloor are closed.

There are numerous police and rescue forces on site.
