1 dead and 1 injured in traffic accident in Bradford County

STARKE, Fla. (WCJB) – A woman is dead and a man injured after a car crash in Bradford County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a pickup truck was traveling east on State Road 100 near LM Gaines Boulevard in Starke early Saturday morning when it left the road.

According to FHP, the truck then returned to the road and then crashed into a tree.

The truck’s passenger was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and the driver was taken to hospital with injuries.

According to FHP, the accident is currently under investigation.
