Goshen man killed in Torrington crash – NBC Connecticut

A 72-year-old Goshen man died after crashing into a tree in Torrington early Friday morning, police said.

Police have identified the man as Peter Jacquette.

They found him when they responded to a report of a vehicle hitting a tree on Pothier Road near Brandy Hill Road around 3:50 a.m.

According to police, Jacquette was driving a 1999 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck that was parked at an angle on an embankment and died at the scene of the accident.

According to investigators, his pickup truck appears to have been the only vehicle involved in the accident. The incident is currently being investigated.
