Man arrested after allegedly killing his father in Sanger: PD | YourCentralValley.com

SANGER, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Sanger police say a 46-year-old man is in custody after allegedly killing his father Wednesday morning in Sanger.

Officers said they received a call around 3 a.m. from someone at the Fastrip gas station at Academy Avenue and 9th Street who reported that a man had entered the station and asked to use the restroom but did not come out was or reacted to it for half an hour.


When officers arrived, they entered the restroom.

According to officers, they found a 46-year-old man in the bathroom with blood on his clothes who told officers he had just killed his father.

Officers said after receiving the address, they immediately traveled to a home at Diamond Avenue and De Witt Avenue.

Officers gained entry to the home after seeing a man who appeared to be lying on the ground. Officers said they found an 80-year-old man with fatal injuries.

This is an active investigation.
