1 person taken to hospital by helicopter in northwest Miami-Dade after possible dog attack

MIAMI DADE COUNTY, Florida. – An adult was flown by helicopter to a hospital Thursday afternoon after possibly being attacked by a dog, first responders confirmed.

The incident was reported in the 1400 block of Northwest 118th Street in the Westview neighborhood of Miami-Dade County.

“Units are responding to a medical call due to possible reports of a dog bite,” a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue spokesperson confirmed to Local 10 News.
